The Fairfield Bay Economic Development Committee Meets monthly on every 3rd Thursday

The Community Club has just anounced their plan to build a hotel adjacent to the Country club.

The city of Fairfield Bay, is extremely happy that plans for a new resort hotel are going forward.  This new attraction will hopefully be the spark that ignites new life in the city that has been needed for a long time. The increase in visitor numbers will benefit the city thru additional sales taxes and an increase in A& P taxes.

The hotel will also provide the stimulus for additional retail opportunities as the volume of visitor’s increases. This city needs an influx of visitors and permanent residents so that prospective retailers can see that they can do a profitable business in the Bay.

We hope that the project progresses  as anticipated and that construction can begin as planned.
